The idea behind FFN started in September 2002 when the original producers had the idea to start an outdoor leather & fetish fair in Toronto. With two goals in mind, they charged ahead. Their goal was to support their buddy who was banned from entering the USA because he was HIV+ and thus unable to attend any of the leather & fetish events there that they all enjoyed so much. So, they decided to “bring the party to him!” Another goal was to showcase Canada & Toronto to the rest of the world while raising funds for Canadian charities. |

 The Steamworks Twister was a very popular location. For a donation of $1.00 was asked of interested audience members to play. The proceeds of the booth benefitted SOY (Saving Our Youth), a program of the Sherbourne Health Center. |

For TNT MEN, the 2005 Pride Parade was one where members of the group and their out of town supporters could walk naked in the parade without fear of police arrest or fundamentalist opposition. According to previous court judgments (http://tntmen.abuzar.net/tnt/news/f33.html), nudity relates to community standards, so if the queer community has no problems seeing our genitals, than neither does the police. Last year, when a religious fundamentalist in the crowd complained to the police about our nudity, she was told by the police not to attend the parade!

These two companies teamed up to provide a VERY popular fashion show. The models appeared to be having a marvelous time as they displayed their wares. (that's fashions). |
