Direct Energy Centre
17 March 2010

The move this year to the Direct Energy Centre in the Exhibition grounds
offers six acres of colourful, glorious gardens and
100,000 square feet of Marketplace, ALL on one level.

I must apologise for the poor quality of sone of the pictures this year.
I am not sure just what happened.

All aboard and ready for the flowers!

Being 17 March,
there was some Irish entertainment,
and this is one of the performers.

A Trio of Sea Urchins

The urchin, a strange, alien-like marine creature, was the source of inspiration for the 10th Anniversary of the International Garden Festival in Metis, Québec. Designed by NIPPaysage, a landscape architectural firm from Montréal, these forms resembling a creature from outer space have landed at
Canada Blooms 2010 in a red sea of tulips.

As I have said in previous years, Canada Blooms is for ALL ages.

Professional Florists

It was quite a day of Passion with the flowers and now we head home...
but not before a stop at the Mandarin in Brampton to recharge.

We are stuck on
The Lakeshore...

... while the traffic on
The Gardner is sailing.

Well, That’s it again for this year. See you at Canada Blooms 2011.
Live long and prosper.
